Best Time to Post to Twitter

To maximize your Twitter exposure, save your best posts for the peak time between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The best results will occur Monday-Thursday. with traffic fading after 3:00pm. Avoid posting after 3:00pm on Fridays as you will get the least exposure at that time.

Follower Retention with Content

It sounds simple, but stay active! Do you have a favorite user on Twitter that you follow? If they stopped posting for weeks or months on end would you still engage with them? Would you unfollow them? Stay active and post regularly to retain the interest of your fans and followers.

Consider Your Hashtag Capitalizatiion

Use proper capitalization for the first letter in each word for your #Hashtags! Take this example from yesterday. Those using “#nowthatcherisdead” (#NowThatcherIsDead) Was misread by many as “#NowThatCherIsDead”. How might others misinterpret your hashtags? BTW, Cher is alive and well. RIP Thatcher.
