How to get retweeted more often

Don’t use all 140 characters. Leave enough space (at least 20 characters) so that when someone retweets your post there’s room for “RT @yourusername” at the beginning. The less work you make it for someone to share your content the more likely it is to get shared.

  1. This is an invaluable twitter suggestion! If I have to try to pare down what somebody tweeted, I’m much less likely to RT it! 🙂

  2. Thanks Dan. I’m the same – unless it’s a super valuable post, I usually don’t go through the bother.
